if i decide to further explore this theme in response to the city brief i will gather more images of people at work and visit different places, for example employees of big companies and aim to gather a variety of different roles.
in doing this i would expect to see a difference in body language according to their position on the hierarchy. I have written to the recorder of manchester(head judge) to ask permission to photograph him.
I will continue to do as i did with the examples above, and give my subject the choice to pose as they wish for the photograph. the reason being that i am interested in the way in which people interact with the camera, i am also interested in the way in which people chose to represent themselves visually. why do they chose to be photographed in a certain way? what does this tell us about them?
