This week the Christmas lights were turned on in Manchester city centre, myself and a fellow student went along to take photographs of the event, afterwards we also went around the city centre photographing at night. I have decided to include the images taken as they are a nice introduction to street photography, which this project is about.

I also recorded a video clip whilst in the city centre to capture the essence and feeling of a city at night...
